TAPSTER x SAS FAQ
The rings will be shipped starting from June 23rd
Tapping is easy. You pay by making a simple ”Tap” towards the terminal. It’s important that you hold the hand in the right position, so that the ring is angled flat towards the terminal. Click here to visit our tutorial page
Once you have received your ring, getting started is quick and easy and only takes a minute!
- Download the TAPSTER app
- Create an account and press "Add wearable"
- Follow the on-screen instructions and make sure to activate your wearable in the final step
- Done!
To confirm if your wearable is ready to make payments, check that the status of the card is "Ready for Payments" and "Active"
Yes! As long as the payment terminal supports contactless payments. Wherever you are able to tap and pay with your physical payment card, you are able to tap and pay with your TAPSTER wearable
Yes! When you connect your payment card to a TAPSTER wearable, a reference of your card with a different card number is created (a token). This makes your wearable highly secure against skimming and fraud, as the tokenized card number is useless online, on other devices, or in case of a data breach.
In summary, TAPSTER wearables are even more secure than using a physical payment card, as the card number is only valid on the wearable and can't be used online or in-store.
