This is the first edition of TAPSTER ́s Wearable Survey. The survey was sent out online to more than 5 000 participants. The majority of respondents were from Scandinavia. The participants had either purchased a wearable from TAPSTER or interacted with the wearable company on social media or by subscribing to the TAPSTER newsletter. The results in this survey are from existing wearable owners, in total 235 participants.
- A clear majority of the wearable user are having their wearable as their preferred payment method.
- 83% are very satisfied or satisfied with their wearable and use it daily or several times per week.
- Key benefits paying with a wearable are ease and speed followed by the benefit of not having to carry a wallet.
- The survey also shows a big demand for a lager variations of payment rings and also an interest for having more services included in the wearable
